Disabilities Resource Centre

In New Zealand it is recorded that 700,000 people have identified as having a disability of some kind and at UP2DATE we realise that disability doesn't just affect the person with the impairment but also their friends, family/whanau, support staff and more.
UP2DATE was launched in 2009 by the late Beverley Grammer as a response to the demand for up to date information, support services and news and reviews as tried and tested by disabled people for disabled people.  The Disabilities Resource Centre brought the business in October 2014 and in October 2015 the Update store relocated to the Disabilities Resource Centre's main office in Kopeope, Whakatane. The Disabilities Resource Centre is committed to continue to service the community and look forward to all that we can offer each other as we strive for an inclusive society.
