Have you ever wanted to get outdoors into the bush but wondered how easy or difficult the walks are? Now, with Accessible Walks you can easily explore some of the South Island's most scenic places and have all the information you need at your finger tips.

"Accessible Walks: A guide to Scenic South Island Walks in New Zealand" is a comprehensive guidebook, providing detailed information about the accessibility of nearly 100 scenic walks in the South Island of New Zealand.

Written by Anna Jameson, who has a disability, and her brother Andrew, a keen alpine climber, this unique book offers encouragement to older people and those with disabilities or young families get out and experience the South Island's wild beauty for themselves. Every walk has been completed by the authors, with Anna using her wheelchair.

"Accessible Walks" provides information about each walk's gradient, track surface, and obstacles; availability and accessibility of toilets; and parking and scenic attractions. Difficulty gradings are provided, for a quick estimate of what each walk involves. The 120 page book has a very user-friendly layout and each walk is illustrated with a colour photo. The book is A5 size and easy to carry around on the walks.
