Now for access in the Garden city you can’t go past the Latimer.

This venue has multiple numbers of ground floor accessible rooms which are new and well designed.

The bathrooms are an amazing size and well set out with handrails and non slip flooring in all the right places.  The other fantastic feature is they have a variety of shower-chair/shower-commode and shower-stools available if needed.

They have an onsite restaurant and bar which is easy to get around and the tables are a really great height.  You can either dine from the changed daily restaurant specials board or from the menu for scrumpcious meals or if you just want something light you can order from the bar.

The staff are so friendly and willing to assist making it such a pleasant place to be.

Located in Latimer Square it is a short walk to the Square and shops so you can dine in or out at any of the many dining establishments close by.

The Latimer also has new and amazing conference facilities upstairs accessible via a lift or stairs and are able to configure these for all requirements from small meetings, to large weddings and conferences.

Nothing is ever to difficult here, its a must stay.

The concierge staff, make checking in through doors and getting bags to your room a breeze. The front reception desk is not accessible unless you are 6 foot tall but they did manage by coming around to serve us.

There were 2 huge double beds in the room and they were very comfortable. The wet area bathroom was a bit of an after thought so the room has a bath with a shower over it as well as the floor has been fitted with a drain and a wall mounted sliding shower head, a glass splash guard is fitted to the wall and can be pulled out when needed. There is no shower seat on the wall or stool in the rooms and it would be fairly tight if one was placed in there given the lay out of the room.

There is a restaurant on site but the best thing is you are situated right in the centre of town which make nipping to the shops or eating out a breeze giving you lots of options.

The conference rooms are well thought out and make it very accessible as the main room divides into many break-out rooms as well as having the other smaller rooms on the same floor, which is so good to keep to conference schedules and to limit possibility of people getting lost on the way to the next workshop.

The distance from the airport to the central city is approximately 20 minutes, 10km.
