We recently stayed in the Motel Units on the premises of the Ascot and had a really great stay.
The only downfall for access to the motel units is unless you have a vehicle is they are a long way from the main hotel with conference centre, restaurant etc if you have a mobility impairment.
Once in the units though, they are roomy, have level entry and decent sized accessible bathroom. The bathroom has wet area shower with easy roll in. They supplied a stand alone shower stool. There was a sliding shower head and rails as per standards. The sink was accessible, however the mirror in the bathroom was a little high for a shorty wheelchair user like me.
There was a small kitchen with microwave, fridge, jug etc this was not so accessible if you use a chair but ideal if traveling with someone else and wanting to self cater.
There is a restaurant in the hotel for meals or they will deliver room service which was really great and really reasonable food.
The restaurant and conference facilities are really accessible and perfect for conference or wedding events.
For those a little more able bring your togs as they have a spa, a pool and a sauna for those keen.
